Your post certainly isn't off-topic at all. I think one of the reason that so many don't know about the subscribtion is that it isn't that noticeable on the page. I've suggested to Kim on the site suggestions that the notice be made more visible on the website (along with the reminder about not posting classifieds on the discussion forums). Meanwhile, I use this site pretty much exclusively for my computer useage other than email, I don't know what I'd so if it wasn't here. Remember also that $8 is a fantastic deal and if a guy can afford more, Kim welcomes the extra donation I'm sure.
