I called about a tractor in the paper and although the one advertised didn't meet my needs the guy told me he had another one that might be what I want(he's settling an estate). What I need is a small tractor that can pull a loaded hay wagon back to the barn. Right now when my wagons are loaded they hold about 100 square bales but I might eventually get bigger wagons so I don't necessarily want to limit myself too much. I have hills but for pulling the wagons it would mostly be flat or small inclines. I also need a small tractor to mow around the fields. He has a Kubota L series tractor, he didn't know the model off hand. It is a 2wd diesel, and it comes with a 60" mower and a 72" scraper blade. He says there is nothing wrong with it and he want $3,700. Is this a fair price? I don't know anything about Kubota's, I have a JD 4020D for mowing and baling hay and that is what I'm familiar with but I'm need a second tractor and color doesn't matter. I don't want to spend too much money but I also don't want to spend too much on repairs and parts. Can someone clue me in on the L-Series Kubota. He thinks its a mid-80's vintage. I've heard good things about Kubota and there is a dealer close by but I have no experience. What is the horsepower, will it have any problems pulling loaded hay wagons, and anything else someone cares to share. When I look at it what should I look at, anything in particular? Thanks.

It would be a great day for the collies and the terrier dogs, rats and mice would be at the bottom of the stacks so the dogs, would have a busy time hunting and killing, all the corn was gathered and ricked in what we c
