Turn about is fairplay. Just turn the offenders over and pour gasoline up their exhaust pipe. Too bad the law doesn't see it that way. Around home stolen gasoline and batteries were common, even fruit off the tree. They left the ladder but took the rope. Fuel tanks left open to run out onto the ground, wrecked mail boxes, a moose hide left in the field and a burned truck. At tractor shows paint jobs get scratched, fuel tanks loaded with dirt/corn cobs and air let out of tires. There is as much riff-raff in the country as there is in the urban/city areas. When the culprit is found it's never a surprise who it was, just how much damage one ring leader and a few mindless followers could do. Often alcohol was involved too.
