What gets me are the guys that find $500 tractors and spray them with cans and sell them. Half the time there is a reason why they only cost $500. They paint over the grease and leaks and get some of that crappy silver paint for wheels then a month later some poor feller brings it to you with a slipping clutch, bad breaks or a leaking hydrolic pump. Some of these you can't fully test in somebodys front yard and out in the country people tend to trust thier neighbors. One "tractor brooker" kept my father busy all summer selling junk to people. They used them a little while and then dragged them to his shop.
