I live in a small town and a few years back I was having trouble with someone tearing up my back yard. I went and took a 1 inch thick board and drove some nails through it and placed it 30 feet from the curb on my property. Sure enough a few nights later they tried it again and got 2 flat tires for their trouble. I turned them in and they got a ticket for distruction of private property and I GOT A TICKET for having a known public hazard on my property. I tried to fight it and ended up loosing. The kid was mad that he was busted and ended up trying to play baseball with my mailbox. Little did he know that it's two mailboxes in one. I have a smaller mailbox inside of a larger one with cement between the two. I was sitting on the porch with the lights out when they came by. I can still hear the ring of the aluminum bat and the cussing of that kid. I was laughing so hard I had tears rolling down my face. Sense then they have left me alone and I'm now know as "the crazy Army guy." :-)
