I have to agree with you on the overspray on the tires.. It's not easy to get any kind of tape to stick to tires, but what I do is paint the tires with oil first, then wash the paint off with paint remover after painting, which is tedious in inself. It's either that, or get the paint on your rims all screwed up prying tires off and back on..
