Ferris State offers degrees in Automotive and Heavy Equipment technology. As an alumnus, and a former instructor, I urge you to look into their programs. (Daughter is also attending FSU, and is one year short of a doctorate in Pharmacy!) It is a very good school. They used to have a special program for handicapped students - think the tuition was free. Anyway, there were lots of handicapped students attending, and it was not uncommon to see wheelchairs traveling around campus. See www.ferris.edu
