You might be right. I think the U.N. had a commission a five or ten years ago run by good ol' Hans Blick. They figured the NASA photos were all wrong and just US propaganda anyway, so they re-drew the equator about 400 miles south. Festus' friend was probably down there after that happened. Ol' Blick did such a good job on that project, they sent him off to find all the nerve gas and enriched uranium in Iraq. -- my apologies for posting that map. You can see from the link on it that it came from the CIA web site - same guys who made up all those pictures we saw today. Steve

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
