1950 JD B question

There is a fitting in the middle of my valve cover that has
a hose going from that fitting to one on the governor near where the
fan shaft enters.. This hose look like it doesn't go here, Kinda
out of place.. I remember seeing an old B and I seem to
remember the fitting on the valve cover having a rigid
run of copper tubeing to a fitting on the air intake pipe
that comes from the air breather system, Which is missing by the way..
Can someone tell me what goes where on this tractor
