A couple come to mind- a JD BO unstyled, that started on first spin, in the late 70's- the guy was using it daily to rake hay- He wanted $450, I offered $400, and that's where it ended. An Oliver 1950 FWA (thats the one with the Detroit)- ran great- but it was 10 years ago, and the pullers weren't snapping them up yet- went for $2,500 at consignment auction. Oh, yeah, and theres the one that didn't get away- 1959 Corvette, complete but not numbers-matching, bought in 1974 for $800. Needs restoration, but I've turned down $10,000 for it (would take $12,000, if anybody's interested)
