I'm gonna offer an opinion...and its only my own personal opinion, so take it for what you paid for it. Forget the Allis. I've got a D14, first one I ever owned. Its ok, but I really think you can do better, a whole lot better. I don't wanna sit here and bash Allis, but I think you'll be a whole lot better off with something of a different color. To me, my little Allis is like a left handed, Polish built, tractor. On the other hand, I'm left handed and Polish, so maybe its just me. Seriously though, I'd go with the MF or the Ford, or do some serious thinking about an IHC or JD. In all seriousness, stop and do some real research, you may spend a little more than you're thinking about, but this tractor purchase is a long term prospect...buy the best you can, and then enjoy it for a LONG time.
