Somebody, I don't remember which board, posted that they use brake fluid on carburators. I've tried this in the past and it works good. However his post delt with soaking carbs for little engines that are a pain to keep going. I dug out an old weed eater which I hadn't been able to get running in years. Loosened up the carb. Soaked it in brake fluid, blew the brake fluid out with an air hose. Put it back together and almost had a heart attack when it fired.
