Four inches? Jeepers, that's barely enough to slow folks down around here. I've driven through deeper snow in a rear-wheel drive Nova with 14-inch tires! I guess it's what you're used to. An old friend of mine told of driving home from Florida after a snowfall of less than an inch. Cars and trucks in the ditch all over but he wasn't having any trouble. A sheriff's deputy in a southern state pulled up behind him with the lights going and then turned them off. He figured the officer saw the Michigan plate and realized he knew what he was doing.

Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
