The problem with a lot of 1086s is that they were used the same as a 1486. Just turn the power up a little and pull 6 bottem plows and 24' disks and field cultivators. They where just too close in power to the older 1456s that a lot of farmers used them a little to hard. I know we used the same equipment behind our 1466, 1206, 1486, and 1086. The hotter the day the more likely the two 86 (working AC)tractors would be used for whatever was needed.
