Take the boys advice and buy a good one. It'll be money well spent. While you're at it,add some earphones. You'll find with the earphones,not only will you hear the radio better,but you'll save your hearing at the same time. You'll also be suprised how well they filter out background noise and you'll actually be much more aware how you machine is operating. It's worked for me for twenty years. You may want to wire the headphones just for AM if that's your preference , it sure beats having the music in only one ear.

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned.
