You would have to measure the bore with inside micrometers...in various places to determine the size and the amount of taper (wear) where the piston travels. Best to just take it to an automotive machine shop and let them do all the precision work, thats what they are there for. Let them fit the pistons, rings and bearings, grind the valves and check the head for flatness. You can do the wrench work, cleaning and paint work. Watching and learning as you go...good way to go on the first one. L8R....Fred OH
