My inlaws live in a subdivision. about a 100 houses for about 1 or 2 miles of street. The way it was setup a few years ago is that joe shmoe guy with a pickup and blade had to have 80% of the houses agree to pay $20 for the whole season (no matter how many times it snowed). Many people were very cheap and they only got the 80% about every third year. Then when a big blizzard would hit a couple of people would pay $50 or so each just for anybody to run down the street with the truck so you could drive a car down the street. Well any way I would charge $5 per house for every snow over 2" deep. That way you would get $35 each snow. That way you make a little money and the neighbors dont feel like their getting ripped off. (If they dont like the $5 each house then let them come begging to you when a blizzard hits) then say "Oh now you want me to plow you out well now its $X"
