Just a little comment here from an I.H. guy. (can you tell from my handle?) Not all of the I.H. collectors are overly concerned with serial numbers. I collect what I personally like which has more to do with asking price than anything else. The guys out there who say that there farmall M or H is worth umpteen jillion dollars are only fooling themselves. Even though I have not been around very many Masseys I think I would like to have one someday. All these old tractors are neat, no matter what color they are. At least the Masseys are red.

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet).
