Go back and re-check the model number. V is the designation for a Hi-Crop tractor and could be used on more than one model. It might be a 400 if it is a '56. If it's older, it could be a MV or a Super MV, or something like that. The IH/Farmall board here at ytmag would be a good place to get specific info on it, whatever model it turns out to be.
