The cub was wide front, right side seat, and Farmalls smallest of letter series. The A was next size bigger, wide front, right side seat and available in high clear. The B was basically the same as the non high clear A but with narrow front end and available in the narrow tread. The C was next size bigger and the driver was seated in center, typically narrow front but wide front may have been an option. The C had considerably taller rear wheel's, I think 36" rear tires. The H was bigger yet. It had engine side frame rails and in-line steering shafts over the engine unlike the smaller models. It was typically narrow front with 38" rear tires. Wide front and high clear were options. I believe the high clear had drop axels. The M was bigger but basically just larger in scale to the H. Wide front and high clear were options on the M too. All of the letter series tractors (except cub I think) were improved into the super series in later production years. The cub I think was the only tractor that remained in production for a few more years when Farmall switched to the newer number series tractors. If this tractor you are talking about is a letter series farmall, this should help you identify it. You may also want to check out some of the photos under "tractor photos" on this forum. It is on the left side of screen under Gallery. Click on it and then Farmall. Then you can see some actual pictures to compare to.
