Bill, My wife lost her nursing job over a year ago. She'd worked for that hospital for over 24 years. She's been able to find other work because of age (53) and a damaged disk in her back, probably because of some fat old hulk falling on her at work. She's not able to collect unemployment, and has been denied for disability. My substitute teaching has reached a new low due to financial problems in the schools, and the growing pool of subs, due to others out of work entering. My services are about all I can afford to offer the church. I'm going to bill them a reasonable charge for the plowing and mowing, and then mark the bill paid. At least it'll show on the books that I contributer - would have cost the church handsomely to contract those services.
