Have had diesels that went 15,000 hours before overhaul and others that the oil pressure light was on around 6500 hours so bearings were put in. So to answer your question, maybe, maybe not. Best thing to do is hook up a mechanical oil pressure gauge and check pressure to spec, also have a diesel mechanic do a compression check. If those come back good then the engine should be fine. 7110 is a good tractor, be sure to change the oil in the rear end every couple of years, especially if you use it in the winter. Condensation = water = ruined clutches in power shift transmissions.
