The 17K price i quoted was the price that was quoted to me by deere at the NFMS where i looked them over. Maybe it would be a good tractor?? BUT, you don't have to look too hard on the net to see all the problems owners of 5000 series deere tractors are haveing. I doupt this one is a "all new design". I know i wouldn't buy one. Robert
