A couple of years ago, my daughter asked me to write up my "memories" She emphasized memories, not memoirs. I began typing with the first year I could remember. Each memory brought on another memory. It just kept flowing out. For instance, the first tactor I drove when I was a little fellow-- That brought on a description of the "B" Allis, the hole in the hood that was put there by a cornstalk, the owner, Ffrank Loe (MillGrove, Mo) who taught most of us boys how to drive a tractor picking up baled hay. We drove to suit HIM, not our older brothers or Daddy. That then brought on his sawmill, his 15-30, his model A Ford, his explanation of why the right tire wears faster than the left, the winter we three younger children spent three weeks living with the Loe family while our parents went to see about Grandma in Neebraska, he taught me long division. You get the picture!! It flows out. Priceless to our grandchildren who have never even seen a rotary dial telephone.
