I wish there was a forum here at ytmag for discussing the politics of the day. I'd want us to all be Gentlemen, and have reasonable discourses on things. I trust you guys opinions in so many other ways (you and the N board). So I know I would at least listen to you. Even if I disagreed. There are many other forums to discuss that kind of stuff. Most major newspapers have them. But I don't know them folks. And they don't have that common interest with tractors to give them a little patience with one another. So there's a lot of flaming and foolishness there. We may be going to war here. Used to be the locals would gather at the coffee shop or after church and have a say at how things were going. But we've changed in many ways. So that now the folks at This place are more my neighbor than the guy down the road who I hardly ever see. I kind of wish Kim could make a Forum for current stuff. Not like Kountry Life. I'd be willing to have to log in there to keep down the flames. I'd really be interested in hearing your thoughts on things like the gas prices, or politics, or the war. I know it's impossible here. But I wish there was a place.
