Either way you should be able to find a good complete engine, as they were put in the 2020 JD's too. The 2510 was a mixed tractor with the frame, tranny, and rearend coming from Waterloo(all 3020), and the engine coming from Dubuque(2020). Ours was an excellent tractor, but used oil real bad. They are good tractors for there size, but if its powershift, it will feel a little under powered, it all depends on what you are going to be doing with it. Hope this helps.
