If you reach the point in life where you start thinking about how much money is involved with your tractor or tractors, the time of enjoying them for what they are is nearly over for you. I like to "play with my tractors", they are restored, but they are not shrines, I let kids crawl on them and old men run their hands over them, and enjoy watching others look at them and talk about them. If for some reason I eventually have to give them up, I'd rather give them to someone who will enjoy them just like I have, than sell them for double their value or more to some rich slob who's collecting them so He can brag about how many He has. In my opinion it would be a lot better world if anyone who wanted a tractor to use or just play around with could afford it and the rich collectors were taxed so bad for having excessive amounts of them, they'd be forced to sell their big collections, and learn to just enjoy a few nice ones like the rest of us do. Sounds hard doesn't it, but I'm sick of seeing the prices driven up by rich hoarders of antique tractors, while working types and young people who'd really enjoy 1 or 2 can't afford them.
