My Grandad bought a new 1949 Farmall H in the fall of 1948. Dad got the H when he bought my grandparents farm in 1972. The H was parked in 1984. I bought the H, (now not running) when Dad's health was failing in 1999. Mom and Dad and the farm are gone now, the H is still in the family and resting at my friend's farm, awaiting refurbishing. I rode on the drawbar with Grandad when we were making hay in the sixties! I will leave the H to my kids when I'm gone. NO REGRETS! If I were you, I'd buy back Dad's tractor! Don
