hey like bguy says the 430 is just little older version of the 455 its a power house of a mower too ,i have both , the 455 i think does have better balance it seems the 430 is much heaver in the front its longer wheel base ,so it doesnt go as well for me, im in wet terrain,the front end want to go down quicker than it does on the 455 , so the 455 does go better in my area ,there both i think i can speak for many people, the very best mowers you can buy , you wont be sorry you bought one happy mowing
