I was reading through a book here that a friend of mine lent out to me, it's called "Cockshutt, The Complete Story". Great book and it has a lot of extra little stories about tractors and people, etc. One of these little articles is about a brand new 1949 Cockshutt 30 that somebody in Maryland bought from an original Cockshutt dealers family in 1993. Apparently the shipping tag was still wired to the steering wheel. It is unknown why this one particular tractor went unsold for all those years. The buyer had known about it since 1981. Apparently it has been shown in a number of shows in the eastern USA over the past while. The engine was stuck from sitting so long and was removed and freed up. That and a few leaking seals and it's a brand new NOS (new old stock) tractor. Anyone of you guys ever heard of this or maybe even seen it?

This article will focus on what I encountered and what I did to bring the 1951 NEAR DEATH Farmall H back to life.
