My family owns a 504 gas and I love it. In the four years that we have owned it we have only had one problem. The only thing that has gone wrong in ours was a hydrolic coupler, and I think of that as normal wear and tear. Other than that it has ran perfect since the day we purchased it. I do agree that they are bulky for the amount of horsepower, but I would recomend one to anyone who was considering buying one. Ours is just a good all around tractor and has never done us wrong.
