Become an auctioneer. Well, let's look at it this way. The auctioneer is representing the seller. Ebay is the same way - their 'protections' are set up to protect the seller. That's who is paying the bills.
Someday when I sell my stuff, I'll want top dollar for it too. So, if you want to come out ahead, be the auctioneer. Otherwise, bid to what you think the deal is worth, and live with it the way it is. An auction is just not a place that is set up to be 'fair' to the buyers. It is set up to get top dollar from those present for the seller. We can fight, argue, pass laws, etc. But, it doesn't change the basics of the game. An auction is for the seller's interest, not the buyers'. --->Paul
