We were city farmers in the 50's. We lived in Northern Illinois. Last fall I decided to buy an example of all of the tractors we had when I was a kid on the farm. Farmall H, Farmall F-20, Case Model C. I have in such a short time got one each of the H & C, 3 F-20's. And I just got a Case L. Plan to sell one of the F-20’s and keep the others. I don't have any land to work with this equipment!! Nostalgia is the only reason. I’m still amazed how memories that have been dormant for over 45 years started coming back when I stood next to the old H last fall. My wife thinks I’ve gone completely out of my mind! :-) Here is a picture of the H the day I got it home. This is the tractor that started it all for me last fall. Sorry to say it is in the shop getting a major engine overhaul. Trying to correct a smoking we problem found a cracked head and block! :-( Ol Dave's gonna have a lotta money in this Ol H!
