I finally resorted to throwing chunks of sod under wheels, rolling forward, throwing chunks of sod under wheels, rolling backward, etc., until I got enough footing to work backwards out, using the hydraulic bucket to assist. I was one scared puppy for a while - Payloader belonged to my wife's best friend, and she needed it back at the cement plant yet that evening!
