How much do you have to spend on it? That will tell the tale as much as any brand or color. For what you are describing you'll use it for You don't need over 40 HP. Get a utility tractor. Low to the ground. Wide front. Absolutely, positively get a tractor with 3 pt hitch. They made something like 300 tools and implements to go on a 3 pt. Those little N Fords get laughed at a lot. With good reason since have their drawbacks and their limitations. But they fetch the prices they do because it's almost universally recognized that a 3 pt tractor is just SO much more versatile.
