The best tractor for a loader is one where the front axle is way out in front so when you pick up a load, the axle is under it instead of behind it. If the axle is way back under the tractor and the loader is mounted quite a ways forward, the load picked up lifts on the back considerably. Just for the purpose of an example, if the front tires are midway between the center of the load and the center of the rear tires, each pound picked up will lighten the back one pound, and the front will carry two pounds more.
