Indeed Duane! My son (same one who gave me the headset) was a percussionist in his school's marching band all through middle and high school. He took the cue from his dad and wore earplugs at practice, also during parades/shows. (I wore plugs too when I served as a parent spotter in parades...they marched 140 kids and were LOUD!) Anyway my son said he could actually hear rest of the band BETTER with the plugs than without. I'm sure his hearing today as an adult has been well served as a result...

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
