Hi, I have a gas Farmall 544 which starts right up and I can idle it forever as well as throttle up and down while not in gear just fine. After I throw it in gear and go for a minute or so it stalls out. It seems like it doesn't want to be put under a load. I played with the carb float to make sure its not stuck and it seems to be getting gas up to the carb. Now there is no fuel pump on this tractor, which I thought was sorta strange, and only abot 1/3 of a tank of gas in it. Does it need a fuller tank to make enough head pressure for the gas flow or is there another problem you guys might know of. I just bought this tractor this week and am getting really frustrated. Any help is appreciated. P.S. I changed the plugs, wires, points, rotor condenser, and rotor cap and nothing helped there.
