Some tractors have 'position' & 'draft' control
on the 3-point. This would be a different lever
somewhere. Is it possible you have this, and it
was moved? That can give strange results
when you least expect it. Also, some hyd
pumps have settings or thumb-screws to
adjust the rate of flow - perhaps your tractor
also has this? I'm sorry I don't know more of
your tractor to be more helpful....

If the 3-point leaks down when tractor is off in
10 seconds from all the way up to all the way
down, I would strongly suspect you have
some very, very leaky seals or such inside.
You might want to consider getting that fixed.
Your hyd pump needs to constantly push oil
through to make up for this leaking.

I am not a hyd expert, so something else
might be going on here?

If the same weight was on the 3-point when it
now goes down more slowly, then that is an
oddball situation. I can't think of a good reason
for it to now act that way. This is, moreso, the
way it should be acting all the time.
