In light of a couple of other comments you received, you might want to call the local Fire Department before you light up. They might want to assist in your planning and control measures. Ours does. There's nothing like a big pumper full of water standing by. We had a neighbor back home that used to burn off an 80-acre wheat field every few years. He almost burned our house once when the wind turned on him. Then there's the more general question - why do you really want to burn this off? Not that it's any of my business, but a brush hog would leave more of the soil nutrients in place.
