Another idea, Contact your VFD with the idea of using your controlled burn as a training session for the fire dept. Rural depts. must undergo annual training for containing and extenguishing grass/field fires, and this would benefit both you and them. I got my local VFD to burn an old house for me many years ago, so we both benefited.
