that maybe he has a burr on his pto shaft or the shredder pto and is afraid to beat on it and harm his tractor. I have a John Deere that the shredder shaft only goes on there one way and have used it like that for years. I have replaced all the pins and springs and have filed the pto shaft and still I have trouble getting it off. This person has a legitimate question and needs help, not made fun of. Thank god for the people who have 10 acres or less. They make this site possible. A real farmer isn't going to have the time to get on here and post. This time of the year, real farmers are out getting there fields ready. I know, I am retired. Also, these small acreage folks make our old tractors worth something other than sitting on a fence row or the scrap yards.
