Go to a truck line shop. They have some stuff they put in on a regular basis. The big engines (tractors and trucks alike) have water filters with a chemica;l in them. The smaller trucks and tractorsdo not have this. They call it anti-cavitation liquid, but it gets and keeps the radiators and blocks clean, also. If you have a leak (and I have seen this done) adapt the vacuum cleaner hose to the radiator filler spout ON THE BLOW SIDE of the vacuum., turn the vaccuum on, put some soap bubble mix in a spray bottle and pinpoint the leak and mark it. change the vacuum cleaner hose to the suction side, let it build up a vacuum (it won't get too much), have one of these epoxy 2 in one guns at the ready, prick the radiator hole out a little larger and inject the epoxy. It will go both up and down since the vacuum will be equal. I recently saw this at a truck line shop where the fan tore up the radiator and were changing the core out. It had done a good job and saved alot of road repair money.
