You can check your neutral start safety switch by unplugging the two wires that go into your transmission top. You will note that one is male, the other is female. Make certain your tractor is out of gear at this point. Take the male and female ends COMING FROM UNDER THE DASH and plug them into each other. If they are molded together, split the molded rubber. This elimantes the neutral safety switch. If it cranks now, your problem is in this switch. If this doesn't fix it, E-mail me and I will take you through the steps. It also makes a difference in the starters if it is gas or diesel. As for the starter bolts, the third one is no problem if you have a 3/8 drive 9/16 socket and extensions that will bring you just barely past the end of the starter. If you don't have these tolls, you need em anyway.
