Hi F14, I'll give you the numbers for my AC-B. Others may be different. Belt pulley speed:engine speed ratio = 0.75 Pto speed:engine speed ratio = 0.4 At a full load governed engine speed of 1400 rpm this yields 1050 rpm for the belt pulley and 560 rpm for the pto. My cordwood saw is driven off the 8" dia belt pulley by a speed-up drive (6" dia driven pulley) to yield a saw rpm the same as engine rpm. The belt speed at 1400 engine rpm with the 8" dia drive pulley is therefore about 2200 FPM. I use a 29" dia saw. At 1400 engine rpm, this saw is going about 10,600 SFPM which is really too high for that application. For sawing, I usually run at about 1/2 engine throttle to give something in the vicinity of 7,000 SFPM. I have found this to be a good wood cutting speed. Rod

I’d probably plowed about 3000 acres (in my head anyway) by the time they found me. This is where my love for tractors started and has only gotten worse in my tender 50 yrs on this “green planet”. I’m par
