For a cheap solution to your problem, can you run some 2-3 inch channel iron alongside the engine frame, extended beyond the front of the tractor, and construct a steel box there- then pour a concrete block to fit the box, or fill it with iron, gravel, etc.? You can gain 70-150 lbs per cubic foot of box that way. Use 1/2-5/8 inch bolts to mount the frame, whatever the frame holes allow- use grade 5 or 8 bolts.
