What Gary said for initial timing and a question: What altitude are you at? There was a rancher over here that used to get a lot of tractors from Kansas and they wouldn't run right at this altitude (6,000' plus) so you'd have to run them wide open and advance the pump until they quit 'dropping shots' and stopped puffing black smoke. If you didn't get quite enough advance for the guys' upper place at 7500' he'd call and one of us would go out and set it in the field for him; that way you could load it down and see if she was pulling right or not.
