Origional tire size should have been 12-38 but that was changed in the sixty's to the 13.6x38. Measure the width of the rim from outside to outside and you should have 13". Any 13.6x38 will work, but you can squeeze a 14.9x38 on that rim. I personally like the Firestone field and road tires, they seem to pull better than most of the good years and armstrongs.
