GUYS, I APPRECIATE YOUR HELP I THINK THAT THE ADVICE FROM JACK IS THE CORRECT SOLUTION. BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY MY VALVE HAS BEEN REPLACED. AS THERE IS NO LONG TUBE AND LOWER OPENING NOW ILL LOOK FOR AN ORIGINAL STYLE VALVE. I HAVE RIDDEN ALL MAKES OF MOTORCYCLES AND THEY HAVE EITHER A TWO WAY VALVE OR TWO PETCOCKS. AGAIN THANKS FOR ALL OF THE HELP. JEFF P. FROM MEXICO MISSOURI.
