Hi Alan, I'm primarily a Deere driver but for what your needing to do I would look around to see if a good used IH 656 would be around. You can generally find these around the 3000.00 to 5000.00 range. Would be a good size for a loader as well and have the hp you would need to do what you want to do. Its not a small frame tractor however if that is what you are looking for. Do a search on this site on tractor photos to see what I'm talking about. If I remember right the 656 is around 65 to 70 hp. I had one once for just a short time and I wish I had it back. ON the green side of the fence if you could locate a good 3010 or 3020 or maybe even a 4010. You can find these reasonable as well but they may need some repair work. I got a 65 model 4020 withe a 48 loader on it last year for 9500.00. Breaks down to about 7500.00 for the tractor and 2000.00 for the loader. Just a few thoughts for ya to consider.
